Most Florida avocado varieties‘ skin does not turn color when ripe. The skin is smooth and green. The flesh is gold, soft yet pliable, high in moisture content with a melting quality. The fruit has a large central pit, yet because of the fruit’s size (often weighing over a pound), but the edible yield is still high.

How To Eat: Store at room temperature of 70 degrees or above until soft all over. Once soft all over, eat or refrigerate to preserve shelf life.
